Is it just me, or does ketamine - an hallucinogen - have a reputation for being (relatively) harmless? New research, reported on the BBC website, suggests otherwise. The article reports that from a study of 120 people 'researchers found the frequent users group performed significantly worse on the memory tests - in some they made twice as many errors.' The study also showed performance worsened over the course of the year. Frequent users were those who took the drug every day.
Also of interest was that there was the suggestion that the drug has the potential for addiction - and that most young people don't realise this.

Losing memory would make common sense, but probably wont stop us trying or using. I think we need more information about ketamine now that it seems to be flooding australia. Is there evidence for this anywhere?
