      <description>@Jess: to be fair, there were some insane number of hospitalisations at that festival (Trance Energy, i think it was) something like 30 or so. There will always be a high percentage of drug use at festivals as there is such a large number of people that aren&amp;#39;t there for the music, they just seem to want a day to get mashed. A very expensive day to get mashed. Very annoying.</description>

      <description>It amazes me the extent to which music festivals in melbourne are so strongly associated with drug taking. I remember reading about the Dutch dance promotions company Q-dance deciding not to stage the Defqon.1 Festival in Melbourne last year, because of the hight rate of GHB related overdoses at the Decemeber 2007 festival. It seems that this is a real problem that needs addressing. </description>
