From the file marked 'stupidity' comes the story of P-Plate diver Joanne Grosse, who has recorded one of the nations highest ever blood alcohol readings.
Her reading was 0.385 -19 times the legal limit for a P-plate driver.
She was so drunk when she was caught by police that she could barely speak, a court was told yesterday.
ACT Magistrates Court was told that after a night of drinking in Canberra in November, Grosse went home and kept drinking.
Statements tendered to the court stated that at 7.15 the following morning she also downed "a few wines".
Her boyfriend drove her into the city later that day to pick up her Ford Laser. An hour later, she was found slumped in the driver's seat of her car on the side of the road, with the front and rear tyres of her car deflated.
Magistrate Doogan fined her $600, disqualified her licence for 18 months and put her on a good behaviour bond.

at least she didn't undergo serious car accident, It's really funny why people still drive cars when they knew they were drunk. I'd rather go and call a taxi cab to go home safely.
