The Victorian Liberal party have stated that they will ban the sale of bongs and any other marijuana smoking implements if they are elected in the November state election.
The Opposition leader, Ted Ballieu said cannabis was 'a dangerous drug which causes serious mental and physical damage to many Victorians every year'. He also said that banning bongs was 'an important step to reduce drug use'.
Conversely, government spokesperson said that they were 'tough on drugs' but would not be changing the current laws as it addressed the symptoms, not the causes.
Would such a law make any impact on your drug use?
