Residential and out-patient services

Another option for treatment, particularly for long-term dependence, is in in-patient settings such as hospitals and residential units or in out-patient settings.

Organisations like the Ted Noffs Foundation run residential programs such as Program for Adolescent Life Management and Adolescent Drug Withdrawal Unit that can support young people who have a drug or alcohol problem.

Ted Noffs also runs other programs for young people who are dealing with drug and alcohol problems.

Check out the Treatments for drug dependence fact sheet for more info about other options.
